ur client is hiring a Commercial Account Manager to own customer relationships across a growing commercial customer base.
This role sits at the intersection of customer success, retention, expansion, and commercial negotiation. Youll manage renewals and recontracting, identify opportunities to grow account value, help customers adopt additional use cases, and ensure a strong ongoing customer experience.
This is a great fit for someone who has experience in SaaS renewals, customer success, or account management and enjoys owning both the relationship and the commercial outcome. What Youll Do
Own customer relationships across a commercial account segment
Lead renewal and recontracting cycles from initial outreach through negotiation, signature, and execution
Drive customer retention, on-time renewals, increased commitments, and account expansion
Build trusted relationships with customers and understand their business goals, use cases, and success metrics
Identify new workloads, use cases, or expansion opportunities within existing accounts
Communicate product value, business impact, and ROI in a clear, customer-focused way
Partner with customers to increase adoption and deepen long-term engagement
Manage contract conversations, including negotiation, deal structure, legal review, and security review processes
Maintain accurate forecasting, account notes, renewal timelines, and pipeline data in CRM and reporting tools
Follow established account management playbooks while continuing to improve outreach, renewal, and expansion processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and leadership to support customer outcomes
What Were Looking For
Experience in SaaS renewals, customer success, account management, or a similar customer-facing commercial role
Experience carrying a quota, retention target, renewal goal, or other measurable customer revenue target
Strong negotiation, deal structuring, and contract management skills
Ability to manage a large book of customers and prioritize accounts based on risk, growth potential, and business impact
Proven ability to identify expansion opportunities and grow customer relationships over time
Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust across business, technical, and executive stakeholders
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple renewal timelines at once
Salesforce proficiency required
Experience with AI platforms, data infrastructure, developer tools, or technical SaaS is a strong plus
Collaborative, coachable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment
Curious about emerging technology and energized by helping customers adopt new products and workflows
Tools & Systems This role may use tools such as Salesforce, Slack, Gong, Apollo, and internal analytics or reporting platforms. Compensation & Benefits The expected compensation range for this role is $91,000$105,000 base salary, with $130,000$150,000 OTE, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
