Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Employee Benefits Account Manager to join their client's team in North County- San Diego. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about the insurance world and looking to grow their career in a supportive environment. The position offers a dynamic blend of employee advocacy and technical expertise, with opportunities for either temp-to-hire or direct hire placement.
Responsibilities
- Act as an Employee Benefit Advocate, providing foundational knowledge of insurance terms, industry insights, and company operations.
- Utilize over 5 years of experience with a consulting/brokerage firm to effectively manage benefits for groups with 25+ employees.
- Stay informed on current industry regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with Ease and Employee Navigator, including portal building and processing changes.
- Break down medical, Rx, and ancillary products into actionable insights for clients and employees.
- Deliver engaging benefits presentations using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Communicate confidently and effectively in both in-person meetings and webinars.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and team members through exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities with ease.
- Anticipate and solve problems proactively, maintaining an organized and detail-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Possession of a California Life & Health license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Strong relationship-building abilities and collaborative mindset.
- Master multitasker with a keen eye for detail.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 1st shift, with a requirement of 40 hours per week. Overtime is available during busy months.
Benefits
Hourly rate varies based on experience, ranging from $30 to $40 per hour. All roles are hourly, and overtime is available during peak times.
Additional Details
The maximum pay is $40 per hour, while the minimum pay is $30 per hour.
