Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid 4 days per week)

•         We are currently seeking a skilled Account Manager (contractor) to join our Account Leadership team in Austin, TX.

•         The Account Leadership team serves as the front door to the agency and is responsible for fostering relationships with marketing across the Marketing organization.

•         The Account Lead serves as the C2 day-to-day contact for marketing managers of their respective lines of business, while also acting as the go-to subject matter expert for the agency teams.

•         Their insight and guidance are essential in inspiring solutions that successfully deliver on the partners’ business goals and marketing objectives.

What you’ll do (what you’re good at):

  • Managing a range of marketing projects, and across various channels (mostly digital and owned channels).
  • Establishing strong relationships with C2 peers and marketing partners that result in trust, open and honest communication, and clear expectations.
  • Developing a solid, collaborative partnership with the Account Planner, Creative Team, UX Team, Tech Team and Program Managers to provide a strong and unified point of view to partners.
  • Understanding, articulating and clarifying anticipated outcomes and key metrics relative to key marketing initiatives.
  • Reviewing the team's work to ensure it aligns with the strategy, maps back to the creative brief, and addresses all their marketing partner’s asks.
  • Delivering feedback that is strategic, clear and actionable for the team.
  • Supporting strategic and creative recommendations with persuasive, clearly articulated rationale and data-driven insights.
  • Engaging in prioritization discussions to ensure the marketing partners and agency are focusing on the most important work for the enterprise.
  • Setting and managing expectations for projects and deliverables, and defining risks, tradeoffs and alternative solutions when a pivot is needed

  • Experience in highly regulated environments or at a financial institution is a bonus
  • Prior agency experience is a must
  • Qualified candidates have a minimum of 3-8 years of agency account management or account strategy experience working directly with clients and creative teams A strong solutions-oriented approach, user-experience focus and understanding of agency processes required.
