Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in full life-cycle sales.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement and creative strategy.
  • Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through strategic and tactical focus and execution.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and knowledge of the local market with insights into both digital and traditional media.
  • Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and with grow in a team environment.
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients.

Googles New Business Sales team is a group of highly-skilled sales professionals whose focus is on engaging and acquiring high potential advertisers and subsequently persuading them to incorporate Googles exceptional range of marketing products into their current marketing strategies. This global dynamic and dedicated team is the engine behind Googles continued growth.

Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. As a member of our team youll have the opportunity to work with company owners and make a real difference in their businesses by helping them grow. Responsibilities

  • Manage the whole sales cycle as an experienced sales professional for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers and managing the relationship for another 6 months after closure to ensure customer satisfaction, performance and upsell opportunities.
  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in close partnership with our Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire high touch-high value business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing and relationship management.
  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals utilizing the full suite of Googles marketing solutions such as YouTube, Google Search, Shopping, Google Display Network, App Promotion.
  • Deliver consistently against strategic goals while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding experience to Googles advertisers.
