Great Park Live is seeking a motivated Account Executive to drive revenue through group ticket sales, VIP hospitality sales, premium suite sales, bundled event packages, venue rentals, and festival opportunities. This role focuses on generating new business, converting inbound leads, building community relationships, and closing sales that increase attendance and venue revenue for Great Park Live, Winter Fest, and other special events.

This is a front-line sales role for a proactive seller with a strong hunter mindset. The Account Executive will pursue new clients, promote premium event experiences, secure venue rentals, and develop group sales opportunities across corporate, community, school, youth sports, and private event markets.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Drive revenue through group ticket sales, VIP suite sales, premium hospitality packages, venue rentals, and bundled event offers.
  • Drive approved sponsorship opportunities across venues and brand.
  • Prospect new business through cold calls, email outreach, networking, referrals, social media outreach, and follow-up on inbound leads.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for festivals, private events, corporate functions, and venue rentals.
  • Build relationships with businesses, schools, community groups, youth sports organizations, promoters, and event planners.
  • Create custom proposals and presentations based on each client's event needs.
  • Conduct venue tours and in-person sales meetings with prospective clients.
  • Communicate venue rental policies, package details, and event options, clearly to clients.
  • Manage client expectations through consistent communication from prospecting through event execution.
  • Work with leadership and the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional plans that support revenue goals.
  • Create and maintain a 12-month business plan with clear objectives and quarterly initiatives designed to grow market share, increase in-person meetings, and expand sales activity.
  • Meet monthly and seasonal sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting, pipeline activity, client communication, and sales results in the CRM system.
  • Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for management, including results, pipeline updates, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide strong customer service in person, by phone, and by email to support repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Attend weekly sales and operations meetings.
  • Assist with communication related to contracts, billing, collections, and aging accounts as needed.
  • Work closely with event managers and operations staff to support event execution and client needs.
  • Support event-day client hosting and relationship management when required.
  • Maintain accurate client, prospect, sales, and venue rental activity in Momentus Event CRM, ensuring all notes, opportunities, contracts, and follow-up tasks are current and complete.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of sales experience, preferably in live events, entertainment, hospitality, venue rentals, ticketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sales channels and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and close new business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook), CRM software, and social media platforms.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
