Role Overview
Account Executive focused on high-volume inbound SMB sales in a marketplace-SaaS environment. This is a pure closing role with no outbound required, handling pre-qualified inbound leads and driving fast, single-call conversions.
Responsibilities
Run 8+ inbound sales calls per day from pre-qualified leads routed directly to calendar
Close SMB customers on subscription products ($250–$500/month) in a single call sales cycle
Own full revenue metrics including MRR generated, deal size, contract length, and conversion rates
Continuously improve close rates by analyzing calls, optimizing scripts, and refining process
Use CRM systems (HubSpot) and AI tools to increase efficiency and performance
Understand business fundamentals including churn, net MRR growth, and revenue contribution
Collaborate with team to improve sales playbooks and share best practices
Requirements
4–6 years of AE experience in SMB SaaS or B2B marketplace environments
Ability to clearly articulate personal revenue metrics without hesitation
Strong closing ability in high-velocity, short sales cycle environments
Experience improving or rebuilding parts of a sales process with measurable ROI
Comfortable using AI tools and CRM systems to optimize performance
Strong understanding of SaaS metrics including MRR, churn, and conversion
