Schedule is in-office Monday through Thursday with monthly travel to NYC.

The role reports to the CEO.
You will manage a Senior Account Manager, a Senior Strategist, and two junior account staff.
Base compensation is between 155,000 and 175,000 dollars.
Total compensation with performance bonuses ranges from 175,000 to 210,000 dollars.

Our offices are in San Francisco, Brooklyn, and Saigon. We work in small teams without extra layers or departmental hand-offs. Our main client is a Fortune 500 consumer electronics brand. We plan to diversify our portfolio and scale our international production office through 2026. This role is central to those goals.
The Role
You are the senior account leader at the agency. You ensure client happiness and account growth. You also oversee delivery quality for our largest accounts. This is a player-coach role. You will run your own pod and review all deliverables. You also manage and develop a team of four. The creative team handles direction while you decide if the work is ready for the client.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership
Own the daily relationship with our primary Fortune 500 client.
Lead client meetings and make professional recommendations.
Anticipate client needs and address pushback early.
Turn client feedback into clear direction for the internal teams.
Quality Gatekeeping
Review every deliverable through the eyes of the client.
Use your authority to send work back for improvements when needed.
Ensure nothing goes to the client without your final sign-off.
Account Growth
Identify and close organic growth opportunities like upsells and renewals.
Manage the account profit and loss statements.
Monitor margins and team utilization rates.
Team Management
Manage four direct reports in account management and strategy.
Set clear expectations and provide direct feedback.
Provide resource estimates every Monday for the following weeks.
Run your pod with discipline regarding budgets and timelines.
Cross-Office Coordination
Bridge the San Francisco and NYC teams.
Coordinate with the Saigon production team across time zones.
Use clear communication and documentation for end-of-day handoffs.
Qualifications
Required
You have 5 to 10 years of account management experience at an agency.
You have led client relationships worth over 2 million dollars annually.
You have experience with creative production and paid media campaigns.
You have directly managed and held people accountable.
You understand agency finance including margins and utilization.
You live in the SF Bay Area and can work in-office 4 days a week.
You travel frequently to NYC and attend video shoots.
You use AI tools regularly in your workflow.
You have worked at a small to mid-size agency with under 200 people.
Nice-to-Have
You have experience with consumer electronics or tech clients.
You have worked with international production teams.
You have a background in performance marketing.
You have an existing West Coast industry network.
