Deco West, Inc. is a Las Vegas custom decorator for retail and souvenir glass, mugs, and related products. We need an on-site Account Coordinator to run the customer side of the work — not to live on the road opening new doors.
This role sits between the customer, our artists, and production. You will take what the buyer wants, turn it into a clean order, and drive it through proof, schedule, and shipment. Our salespeople and owners will still hunt. You keep the book we already have from falling apart, and you will help staff our Las Vegas souvenir trade show.
What you will do
- Own a book of existing custom accounts: quotes, follow-up, purchase orders, and ship dates
- Gather logos, PMS colors, quantities, in-hands dates, and ship-to details the first time
- Write clear work orders for the art department (1-color cleanup, separations, tapers/curves on glass and mugs)
- Route proofs, collect approvals in writing, and lock the file before it hits the floor
- Track production status and tell the customer the truth when a date moves
- Coordinate with warehouse and shipping so the order leaves complete
- Support our souvenir/retail trade show in Las Vegas (setup, booth coverage, lead capture, follow-up)
- Keep Outlook and our order files current so anyone can pick up an account
- Escalate pricing, credit, or quality issues to ownership — do not guess
What this is not
- Cold calling a territory
- 50% travel
- Commission-only hunting
- An artist or press-operator job (you work with those people)
What you need
- 2+ years coordinating custom orders, inside sales, or account management (print, promo, packaging, apparel, or similar made-to-order work is a plus)
- Strong written English — customers and artists only get what you write down
- Outlook daily, plus Google Docs / Sheets or Excel
- Comfort reading artwork notes and catching a missing color, qty, or date before it is printed
- Able to work on-site in Las Vegas, full time, including occasional weekend or show hours
- Self-directed. We will train product and process. We will not train follow-through.
Nice to have
- Adobe Illustrator enough to open a file and see if it is 1-color vs. garbage
- Prior souvenir, gift, or retail chain account work
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Pay and scheduleOn-site, Las Vegas. Full-time. Pay based on experience; we would rather hire a strong coordinator than a cheap one who drops balls. Overtime and show days are part of the job. Details in the interview.
