THE WORK:
Stakeholder Engagement and Public Outreach
- Youll lead day-to-day stakeholder engagement and communications programs supporting large-scale infrastructure and capital projects.
- Youll serve as a trusted advisor to public agency clients, project teams, and contractors, providing strategic communications and stakeholder engagement guidance.
- Youll develop and implement outreach strategies that foster understanding, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships with communities, businesses, elected officials, and other key stakeholders.
- Youll prepare clear, compelling communications materials and executive-level messaging that translate complex technical information into accessible, audience-focused content.
- Youll manage public meetings, community events, stakeholder inquiries, and issue resolution efforts to support project objectives and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Youll analyze stakeholder feedback and provide strategic recommendations to clients and project leadership to inform decision-making and project delivery.
- Youll confidently present project updates, engagement strategies, and recommendations to executive leadership, elected officials, governing boards, and public audiences.
- Youll develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare progress reports to measure program effectiveness and communicate results to clients.
- Youll identify stakeholder, reputational, and political risks and support the development of proactive mitigation strategies.
Business Development and Practice Growth
- Youll build and maintain relationships with public agencies, contractors, teaming partners, and industry organizations throughout California.
- Youll identify and support the pursuit of new business opportunities across transportation, transit, water, energy, and public infrastructure markets.
- Youll lead and contribute to proposal development, qualifications packages, interview presentations, and grant applications.
- Youll develop persuasive technical narratives, executive summaries, and win themes that strengthen pursuit strategies and proposal submissions.
- Youll contribute to capture planning, market research, and account development activities that support business growth objectives.
- Youll represent Accenture at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen market presence, expand relationships, and generate new opportunities.
