The Supervisor Community Based Services will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Abbe Center’s community-based services for the respective service area and ensuring seamless team management and development, service delivery, quality improvement and evaluation.

Responsibilities:· Ensures the implementation of best practices related to the provision of community-based services.
· Schedules orientation activities and provides orientation to new staff. Works collaboratively with training coordinator and other team members to ensure a welcoming and seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
· Provides ongoing rounding, managing productivity, counseling, coaching, performance appraisals, and disciplinary action as needed.
· Approves payroll for program staff.
· Complete regular audits and provides training and direction to staff related to identified concerns or needs.
· Provides oversight for referrals and intake
· Demonstrates knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately.
· Participates in the recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of community-based services staff.
· Ensures the adherence to established policies and procedures in community-based services.
· Ensures the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly requirements in all locations and programs.
· Identifies staff training needs and provides information to Manager related to training opportunities.
· Provides training to all program staff related to policies, program changes, client needs, and annual client assessments and treatment plans.
· Provides coaching, clinical consultation, and assists with problem solving related to identifying unique and person-centered approaches in response to client needs.
· Ensures timely new hire and annual training completion for all staff.
· Works collaboratively with other Community Based Services Supervisors to ensure training and development needs of all staff are met.
· Collaborates with other internal teams and across the service line to identify and address needs of staff and clients.
· Provides training to staff on quality improvement measures for community-based services and ensures implementation.
· Ensures the adherence to established policies and procedures in community-based services.
Qualifications:Bachelors Degree, Human Services or related field, required
At least 1 year experience in Human Services related field, required
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, preferred
Prior leadership experience, preferred
Fosters professional, person-centered, culturally responsive relationships that promote strengths, resiliency, recovery, and hope, required
Recognizes symptoms of physical and mental illness and performs or coaches staff to perform appropriate interventions and/or referrals, required
Detail oriented and able to prioritize a variety of responsibilities – while meeting established deadlines, required
Familiar with home and community-based services, preferred
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, required
Ability to meet clients in their home or community, required
