A/R Medical Biller/Follow-up Specialist

Our client, a rapidly expanding Accounts Receivables management company, is hiring a A/R Medical Biller/Follow-up Specialist. This role is vital in ensuring efficient resolution of insurance claims by providing accurate status updates and problem resolution to facilitate timely reimbursements.

Responsibilities:

• Log into insurance carrier websites to monitor claim statuses.
• Contact insurance carriers via phone to obtain claim updates and detailed information.
• Record call notes accurately within the company's in-house system.
• Identify and resolve issues causing delays or stalls in the claim process.
• Verify and update member demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline follow-up procedures and improve collection efforts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of follow-up experience in medical billing or insurance claim management.
• Familiarity with insurance carriers and their respective websites.
• Proficiency in insurance claim status tracking and follow-up procedures.
• Experience with EPIC software is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with one day onsite per week.
• Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with AR management systems and knowledge of insurance regulations.
