What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations across units
- Conduct initial assessments and establish priorities based on patient needs
- Re-assess patients systematically to monitor progress and identify trends
- Develop and modify individualized care plans per standards of care
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and perform Point of Care testing
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about health, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Document all care activities accurately and promptly
- Serve as a resource to staff, physicians, and visitors
- Promote a positive work environment, professionalism, and patient satisfaction
What You Need
- Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications (per AHA)
- 1+ years of RN experience; float experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication
- Ability to work independently and adapt to unit needs and assignments
