LHH is seeking a seeking Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to supervise a production floor team to efficiently create a product that conforms to the standards of the customer. This will be executed through providing strong leadership and managing the systems, equipment, people and materials according to the established policies, procedures, specifications, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Monitor safety performance, taking appropriate action to commend safe work practices and resolve all safety infractions as they occur.
Supervises production, adhering to the production schedule
Maintains 100% floor presence; owns the assigned production lines.
Performs safety audits, conducts monthly safety meetings with employees and reviews safety performance.
Oversees an assigned area within the plant, doing daily audits of production performance by checking with staff and ensuring quality of their work.
Responsible for coaching and training of production personnel, including holding group meetings to communicate methods and standards.
Qualifications
Production Supervision experience in an manufacturing environment
3+ years of related work experience
Strong communication skills
Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
