Role Description
SpecialX is FT Partners’ quantitative engine, operating at the intersection of finance & data science. We support and work closely with investment banking teams, but our focus is different. We go deep into the numbers to make sure every analysis we produce can stand up to the scrutiny of investors during buyer diligence. SpecialX analysts focus on analyzing complex financial datasets to uncover insights that support investment theses, validate growth initiatives, and ensure the credibility of financial KPIs & narratives presented to investors. SpecialX analysts develop strong financial and analytical skills while working on live transactions. Analysts will gain hands-on experience working with large datasets, while learning how to translate complex data into clear and compelling insights for clients and investors.

The annual salary for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $100,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
