The General Manager (GM) is responsible for ensuring the daily operations, financial success, and overall performance of assigned retail stores. Reporting to the District Manager, the GM leads and develops a team of 2-3 Store Managers, ensuring stores operate in alignment with company standards while driving sales, profitability, and team success.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage sales, shrink and all controllable expenses. nt
• Effectively & proactively recruit and develop store teams. nt
• Manage team to ensure progressive improvement of store performance. nt
• Partners with property management and maintain continuous communication. nt
• Comply with all company Policy and Procedures and holds teams accountable for the same. nt
• Utilizes performance appraisals and continuous coaching effectively to develop management. nt
• Ensures that the management and sales staff is trained and developed to meet company expectations. nt
• Maintains well documented financial controls and accountability. nt
• Ensures that a clean, fresh, and orderly store environment is maintained. nt
• Effectively communicate with District Manager regarding any employee issues. nt
• Collaborate with Buying team to ensure inventory and stock levels are in line to maximize business. nt
• Oversee the effective merchandising of inventory. nt
• Other duties may be assigned. n

• Bachelor's degree preferred, High School diploma required. nt
• 3 years + experience in multi-unit leadership in a retail environment. nt
• Understands and can speak to Retail Math including all KPI's nt

• Passion for phenomenal customer service and is results/goal oriented nt
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. nt
• Comfortable managing a team and highly self-motivated. nt
• Organized, detail oriented, and strong time management skills. n
