175162 - REMOTE PHARMACIST – PRIOR AUTHORIZATION / UTILIZATION REVIEW

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Active Pharmacist License
• 2+ years of Prior Authorization review experience
• Prior Authorization, Utilization Management, or Utilization Review background
• PBM, Managed Care, or Health Plan experience strongly preferred
• Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Comfortable with high-volume provider/member interactions
• Comfortable completing approximately 40 PA reviews per day
• Comfortable handling approximately 50 calls per day
• Strong computer skills
• Previous remote work experience preferred
• Able to work independently in a confidential home environment
• Available for the entire training period and assigned post-training schedule

EDUCATION & LICENSURE
Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy)
• Active Pharmacist License in the state of practice/residence
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer proficiency
  
  

REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must provide their own reliable high-speed internet.

Minimum required internet connectivity:

25 Mbps download
3 Mbps upload
Internet speed must be verified through Speedtest.

Candidates must provide:

Internet provider
Download speed
Upload speed
Screenshot/snippet of internet speed test
A smartphone is required because the VPN token must be downloaded to the smartphone.

Candidates must also have:

A sufficient, private workspace used for business during working hours
A workspace with a door
Stable living accommodations
A workspace where telephone conversations cannot be overheard
A workspace where computer screens and documents cannot be viewed by others
Ability to securely protect company equipment and confidential information
Ability to lock the workstation or shut down the computer when stepping away
Computer must be shut off when not working
The assignment may potentially be changed to an in-office assignment.
