    Job Summary

    Japanese Manufacture company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

    Accounting Assistant to support their finance team in maintaining

    accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting

    operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational

    skills, a knack for numbers, and a commitment to confidentiality and

    accuracy.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes

    Reconcile bank statements and financial records

    Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements

    Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and compliance

    Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

    Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payments

    Enter financial transactions into accounting software and databases

    Assist in preparing budgets and financial reports

    Perform general administrative duties related to finance operations

    Qualifications

    Associates degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    12 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Excellent organizational and time management skills

    Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion

    Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

    Preferred Skills

    Familiarity with GAAP principles

    Experience with ERP systems

    Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance

    Speak/write/read Japanese is a plus but not required.
