Description

DescriptionSenior Director - Sales Winco Team is responsible for the coordination and development of the Retail Sales and Merchandising Organization for the market/team. They must be able to lead, manage and coach activities of the Sales Team to ensure the sales and merchandising objectives of the company and clients are achieved and that analytics/insights are aligned with customers and clients' scorecards.ResponsibilitiesSales Team Leadership: Will be responsible for 7 direct reportsTrain/mentor/coach associates to optimize team performanceOwn the Customer Leadership Connections at Winco with support from Acosta LeadershipRecruitment of new business to Winco teamDevelop and maintain consistent communication and rapport with clients and customers to address opportunities and expectationsTo implement and manage client objectives.Provide leadership, motivation, and direction to the Sales Team to meet goals.To oversee and coordinate retail deployment to maximize retail effectiveness.To formally evaluate and perform periodic evaluations of the Sales Team's performance on sales and merchandising objectives and to continue the development of the personnel.Deliver scheduled reports against key, pre-determined metrics on the retail business as determined by the business “owners”.Identify key business insights from the reports being delivered and other available data, such that the “business” can determine areas of greatest opportunity.Create and present interview presentation material as requested.Maintain connection with the Client and Customer teams to ensure that reports and analysis being delivered to the clients are meaningful and insightful.Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma/GEDBachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience preferred.Work Experience5 - 10 years of consumer-packaged goods experience, including essential account managementSales, Marketing, Merchandising, Analytics and Administration experience requiredPrior Successful interaction with Winco in a selling role strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesGood office management and time management skills.Ability to exercise influence over people.Be able to prioritize multiple demands simultaneously.Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, including ability to conduct presentations.Proven analytical ability with strong attention to detail.Ability to manage a P&L.Assertive, decisive, creative, team player with a proven sense of urgency.Negotiation skills and ability to delegate.Excellent independent analytical skills.Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Acosta, and its subsidiaries, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Job Category: RetailPosition Type: Full timeBusiness Unit: SalesSalary Range: $111,240.00 - $135,600.00Company: Acosta Employee Holdco LLCReq ID: 31447#J-18808-Ljbffr
