Title: Process Engineer
Department: Engineering
Immediate Supervisor: Plant Engineer & Maintenance Manager
Status: Exempt Salaried
Position Purpose: The Process Engineer is responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, and documenting process improvements in the manufacturing process. They support Operations, Maintenance, and QA to ensure that all production and quality standards are met. They will indirectly manage a team, as well as have responsibility for all day-to-day technical needs of the department. The position demands a hands-on, experienced individual capable of working on technical/operational projects that involve a broad range of equipment, materials, and procedural issues.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing
• 3-5 years of documented Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Extrusion coating experience is an asset
• Web handling experience preferred
• Willing to travel (10%)
• Six Sigma experience as Green or Black Belt is an asset
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
