Lead income tax projects such as tax restructuring, due diligence, transactional analysis, and tax modeling focused on partnership issues. Job Summary: Manage federal and state income tax projects with a strong focus on partnership income tax. Oversee compliance for multiple joint venture tax partnerships. Handle special projects including tax restructuring, due diligence, transactional analysis, modeling, acquisitions, divestitures, and other business transactions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage income tax calculations and compliance for multiple joint venture tax partnerships.
• Lead income tax projects such as tax restructuring, due diligence, transactional analysis, and tax modeling focused on partnership issues.
• Provide income tax advice for acquisitions, divestitures, and business transactions.
• Research technical income tax positions and prepare documentation for transactions.
• Create and implement income tax strategies for complex transactions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor short- and long-term projects.
• ssist with reviewing complex income tax returns, quarterly/annual tax provisions, and modeling calculations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
• Delegate and manage staff to resolve complex income tax issues and projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather data for income tax calculations.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Master's degree in Tax or Accounting preferred.

Work Experience:

• t least 10 years of job-related experience required.
• Federal income tax manager experience preferred.
• Extensive experience with income tax issues related to tax partnerships.
• Experience managing income tax special projects from planning to completion preferred.
