Position Introduction:
Loveworks Leadership is a nonprofit organization that develops middle school students into leaders of competence and character through leadership development, life skills, community service, and meaningful relationships. Loveworks Leadership is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant through a college work-study program. This position provides operational and administrative support that helps our programs run smoothly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate enjoys organization, works well independently, and has a heart for serving students and supporting a mission-driven team.
This role is ideal for a student interested in nonprofit management, business administration, operations, or organizational leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
Administrative & Operations Support:
Assist with inventory management for office, facility, kitchen, and program supplies.
Help maintain organized storage areas and ensure supplies are stocked.
Assist with general administrative projects as assigned.
Purchasing & Program Support:
Shop for groceries and supplies for the Afterschool Leadership Program and Culinary Program.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to staff.
Help prepare materials needed for weekly programming and special events.
Financial & Administrative Processing:
Organize and process receipts.
Assist with expense tracking and financial documentation.
Support bookkeeping and other administrative financial processes as assigned.
Student & Volunteer Records:
Enter student attendance and volunteer service hours into organizational databases.
Follow up with volunteers or families regarding missing attendance information or required documentation.
Assist in maintaining accurate participant records.
Student Documentation:
Help ensure student registration forms, waivers, emergency contacts, and other required paperwork are complete.
Organize and maintain digital and physical files while protecting confidentiality.
