This leader will establish and drive a best‑in‑class SOP process that aligns customer demand, production capacity, material availability, inventory strategy, and financial performance into a single executable operating plan.The Director of SOP will own the monthly SOP cadence, lead executive planning reviews, develop long‑range capacity planning strategies, and create visibility into demand, supply, inventory, labor, and manufacturing constraints. This role is highly cross‑functional and will serve as the operational quarterback responsible for ensuring GTI can execute its aggressive growth plans while maintaining customer commitments and operational efficiency.The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading SOP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) within complex manufacturing, contract manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered‑to‑order environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Operations Planning LeadershipOwn and continuously improve GTI's Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SOP) process across all manufacturing facilitiesLead the monthly SOP cycle, including Demand Review, Supply Review, Inventory Review, Executive SOP, and action trackingDevelop an integrated operating plan balancing customer demand, manufacturing capacity, material availability, labor, and financial objectivesDrive executive decision‑making through structured planning reviews and scenario analysisEstablish standardized planning processes, KPIs, governance, and reporting across the organizationDemand Planning & Forecast ManagementPartner with Sales, Business Development, Program Management, and Executive Leadership to develop rolling demand forecastsConsolidate customer forecasts, backlog, pipeline, and production demand into executable manufacturing plansAnalyze forecast accuracy, demand variability, and customer trends to improve planning performanceDevelop demand scenarios supporting growth, seasonality, customer changes, and market conditionsImprove forecast accuracy through data analysis and cross‑functional collaborationSupply Planning & Capacity ManagementLead enterprise supply planning activities across procurement, production planning, inventory, and manufacturing operationsBalance technologiesRequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Finance, or related discipline10+ years of progressive experience in SOP, Integrated Business Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Operations Planning, or Manufacturing Operations5+ years of leadership experience managing planning or supply chain organizationsExperience leading enterprise SOP processes within manufacturing or engineered‑to‑order environmentsStrong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and production schedulingExperience supporting complex manufacturing operations with multiple product lines and facilitiesStrong analytical, financial, and operational decision‑making skillsAdvanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft ExcelExceptional executive communication and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in contract manufacturing, modular construction, industrial equipment, data centers, BESS, power generation, or heavy industrial manufacturingExperience supporting high‑growth manufacturing organizationsAPICS
