Inside Sales Representative

Location: Louisville, KY
Pay:$19.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Are you a customer-focused professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills? We're seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join a growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with placing orders
• Prepare and provide sales quotes
• Work closely with outside sales representatives to support customer orders and quotes
• Assist walk-in customers with product questions and order placement
• Identify opportunities to generate additional sales over the phone and in person
• Research product solutions to help customers with project needs
• Perform light warehouse duties, including pulling customer orders and assisting with inventory counts
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate order information

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Willingness to assist with light warehouse responsibilities as needed
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
• Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with AS400 is a plus, but not required
