<div style="text-align:justify">JOB SUMMARY: The Shift Supervisor must have basic process knowledge of the site on each phase. Know the how, what, who and when of actual daily operations. Know the labor contract, company policies, (attendance, discipline, vacation, holidays, safety rules and appropriate responses to different situations). Know how to investigate an accident and be able to do work orders in the mining industry. </div><ul><li style="text-align:justify">Must be able to work rotating shift of (07:00 AM to 07:00 PM/07:00 PM to 07:00 AM Rotating Shift Every 3 Months).</li><li style="text-align:justify">Must have supervisory experience.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Must have computer skills.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Must have background in manufacturing (Dry Products, Elevation Transfer Units)/Mining industry experience.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Union Experience (hourly union staff).</li><li style="text-align:justify"><div style="text-align:justify">JD Edwards-Preferred Skills.</div></li></ul><div style="text-align:justify">ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</div><ul><li style="text-align:justify">Must place safety above all else. Review situations so that the work is done in the safest manner possible. Support the STEP process. Address all safety concerns on your shift. Lead monthly safety meetings and review accident reports at the meeting.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Address housekeeping issues on a regular basis. Investigate any accidents by gathering all the facts. Sign off timecards daily. Supervisors are to verify all overtime for operations. Attach all doctor's excuses, vacation slips, and funeral slips to timecards by paper clip. Vacation slips are to be signed off by the employee and supervisor. Verify that the time punched by the employee matches the time recorded by the team leader on the back. Cards are to be signed off and completed by 7:00 am each Monday morning. Plan when time must be turned in earlier than normal due to holidays, etc. Employee attendance sheets are filled out daily with appropriate notes and information, updated each month, and files are locked away.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Attendance sheets are filed away at the end of the year in employees' files in the HR Department. Be aware of the operations in each phase of your shift.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Challenge the rates if there is room for improvement. Communicate to your shift the production plans and changes to this plan. Address any issues promptly either by attaining the proper resources or calling others. Finish all production reporting at the end of each shift. Afternoon shift team leader to make rounds to ensure front gates are closed and doors are locked.</li></ul><div style="text-align:justify">THE FOLLOWING ARE THINGS TO KNOW EACH SHIFT:</div><ul><li style="text-align:justify">How many clay cars did we unload and ensure that the pit area is cleaned?</li><li style="text-align:justify">How many tons of pre-dried clay did we process on each shift?</li><li style="text-align:justify">What was the VM of the pre-dried clay run on your shift?</li><li style="text-align:justify">What is the status of the clay bins and how much material do you have ready for treat?</li><li style="text-align:justify">How many dumps each shift? If less than planned, know exactly why we did not get those dumps and document the root cause.</li><li style="text-align:justify">What are the temperatures running on treats?</li><li style="text-align:justify">Are there any issues with quality or equipment from the Filter Floor?</li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure that roller mill surge bins are ground out at the end of your shift.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Are there any issues with loading bulk trucks or the packaging area?</li><li style="text-align:justify">Inspect bulk loads for proper seals and documentation until all training is complete and accountabilities are in place.</li><li style="text-align:justify">What is the status of the ponds?</li><li style="text-align:justify">Water usage – how much is the discharge to the pond?</li><li style="text-align:justify">Be aware of all quality numbers for products either being produced or packaged and where they stand against specs.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Address any quality issues promptly and if you cannot, contact the appropriate person.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Have the Lab Tech contact you with any concern around quality.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Pick up the quality sheet from the lab at the beginning of each shift.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Must follow all applicable procedures and work instructions to assure feed products, adsorbents, and catalysts are manufactured to meet customer specifications.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Responsible for meeting site safety requirements and quality and food/feed safety requirements.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Must prevent contamination of feed products with activated adsorbents and catalysts.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Other similar duties, as assigned.</li></ul><div style="text-align:justify">EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</div><ul><li style="text-align:justify">MSHA Part 46 training (24-hour course) before starting position. Training is on safety and site-specific hazards.</li><li style="text-align:justify">ISO training.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Basic reading and writing skills.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Ability to solve practical problems (if/then logic).</li><li style="text-align:justify">Troubleshooting ability.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Be an example for all in fairness and equitable treatment of each employee.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Encourage ownership of the operator areas with your people.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Make sure your expectations are communicated clearly to your people.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Recognize situations where certain team members are not performing as they should or not getting the desired results.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Have a conversation with the individuals concerning their performance, document their files, and copy the Production Superintendent.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure that the employee knows what is expected and document this.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure all conversations and observations around performance issues are documented in the employee's file and copied to the Production Superintendent.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Files are to be kept under lock and key but available for employee review when requested.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Coach our employees into better performance.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Always contact the appropriate persons when there are issues immediately rather than waiting till later.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Show and demonstrate ownership of your shift and business.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Demonstrate a standard by which others are measured.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Take on the accountability for your shift and their performance.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Demonstrate decisiveness.</li></ul>

**Job Description**
 
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated **Senior Bridge Design Leader** for employment in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The **Senior Bridge Design Leader** for Mississippi will be the "point" engineer leading existing project deliveries as well as identifying and working toward new project opportunity acquisitions throughout the state, regional and municipal locations.
 
**The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:**
 
+ Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team.
 
+ Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
 
+ Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by other.
 
+ Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
 
+ Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
 
+ Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
 
+ Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
 
+ Prepares technical specification sections.
 
+ Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
 
**Qualifications**
 
**Minimum Qualifications**
 
+ BA/BS + 8 (eight) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
 
+ Active PE license.
 
**Preferred Qualifications:**
 
+ Masters of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering degree.
 
+ 8 + years of bridge design and plan development experience
 
+ Project experience in Mississippi related to MSDOT and/or local bridge design project work.
 
+ Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, MathCAD, and MDX
 
+ Knowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc. is a plus.
 
+ Experience in the plan production of transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
 
+ Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing.
 
+ Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software)
 
+ Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable codes
 
+ Ability to do occasional field work (site visits and inspections) and travel.

Reports to and works closely with the unit leader. </li><li>Delegates daily assignments to all staff on the treatment floor to ensure proper, safe, efficient, and quality treatment and care of patients. </li><li>Performs thorough patient assessments as evidenced by documentation and feedback to the unit leader and/or nephrologist as needed. </li><li>Recognizes changes in patient status while on dialysis and makes necessary adjustments to treatment. Consistently reviews and evaluates priorities as changes occur and conveys these priorities to appropriate staff members. </li><li>Develops implements and evaluates appropriate plan of care for patients based upon patient health status, co-morbidities, current lab results, and response to treatment. Utilizes the team approach by involving the patient, nurses, technicians, nephrologist(s) social worker, and dietitian as appropriate and consistent with institutional policy. </li><li>Delegates CMPA and POC assignments to other nurses as needed. </li><li>Ensures all forms and patient documents are completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Demonstrates excellent communication skills in a clear, concise, and accurate manner. </li><li>Knows and follows all Rendevor Dialysis policies and procedures. </li><li>Utilizes resources to improve skills, knowledge, and practice to assure continuous quality patient care. </li><li>Actively participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement/Continuous Quality Improvement. </li><li>Participates in the IDT and QAPI/CQO committees and attends meetings as needed and/or requested. </li><li>Identifies and reports concerns, issues, and opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Participates in performance improvement projects within licensure, certification, and scope of practice. </li><li>Participates in annual QAPI/CQI training and other continuing education, as assigned, and required. </li><li>Provides suggestions for alternate strategies for indicators not improving. </li><li>Assists in building and maintaining a facility/clinic culture of safety and quality. </li><li>Reports errors and near misses so that steps can be taken to prevent recurrence. </li><li>Reports any negative feedback, complaints, grievances from other staff members, patients, and families. </li><li>Uses evidence-based guidelines and proper infection control practices. </li><li>Makes rounds daily on all patients completing assessments, checking machine settings, maintaining open communication, and verifies the accuracy of all orders during treatment.</li><li>Performs patient care as assigned and when indicated or needed. </li><li>Acts as a liaison between the unit leader, staff, and patients. </li><li>Objectively assesses problems regarding staff and/or patients and works toward a swift resolution. </li><li>Communicates with staff and patients regarding policies and procedures. </li><li>Documents in a clear, concise, and thorough manner. Sees that all documentation is completed properly by all staff during shift. </li><li>Administers medications when needed and ordered; understands and teaches principles of safe dosage in ESRD, reason for giving, and possible side effects and ensures that medications are given properly and as ordered. </li><li>Ensures lab testing is completed per orders and demonstrates a strong understanding of the implications of common lab results as they apply to the ESRD patient; communicates with the nephrologist and other members of the patient care team. </li><li>Promotes the education of the patients and the understanding of their disease and its treatment. </li><li>Promotes a positive and productive atmosphere. </li><li>Develops and/or participates in in-service education. </li><li>Involved in the planning and implementation of orientation of new staff. </li><li>Promotes a safe, neat, and clean environment. </li><li>Assists Unit Leader in implementing and enforcing cost-saving measures and controlling waste. </li><li>Reports any incidents to Unit Leader and/or Regional Director. </li><li>Checks email regularly and responds appropriately and timely; uses company-provided email for all work-related email communications. </li><li>Maintains regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. </li><li>Adheres to all company policies and procedures. </li><li>Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.</li></ul>Supervision:<ul><li>This position will report to the Unit Leader.</li></ul>Background Check:The Department of Corrections and all applicable law require a comprehensive background check for all employees working in this position. This role may include exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens. This role routinely involves the use of both medical and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
