ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAssists with management of various public sector engineering and transportation projects, including oversight and project review, visiting field offices, and filling-in to support project staff as needed; Provides leadership to field staff and engineering teams; Performs contract negotiations with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to obtain rates and contract amendments for the benefit of the Company; Establishes and monitors schedules and budgets as they relate to assigned projects, and assists with billing reviews and invoicing as needed; Assists with business development efforts, including proposal development, marketing activities, and traveling to trade shows/industry events as needed to assist in development process; Performs project site visits as needed; All related duties as required to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the essential functions of this position, it is frequently necessary to:Assume a stationary position, Handle, inspect, and/or feel documents, materials and/or equipment relevant to the job; Communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients using Company email and telephone systems; Move around on the job-site, including ascending or descending on the landscape or on a ladder, and positioning oneself appropriately to access necessary testing materials and equipment, usually for prolonged periods of time, Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
