- To coordinate Metromont’s engineering, drafting, production, and subcontract activities which will result in the achievement of the Company’s objectives and goals in the following key result areas:
- Serve as the “team” leader to ensure the delivery of a quality project from a design, product, and overall experience perspective to Metromont’s customers. Across the eastern seaboard, the southeast, and even as far west as Arizona, our customers rely on us to provide innovative precast solutions and the best quality for their parking structures, data centers, multifamily housing, office buildings, warehouses, schools, and stadiums.
You will work collaboratively with a team that includes field technicians, field scientists, task managers, assistant project managers, and technical experts to execute project tasks effectively. As a Project Manager you will bring exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and the capacity to excel as a productive member of a high-performance team. ul>- Lead multi-media environmental permitting efforts for the life-cycle of a project from initial due diligence, through preparation of applications, strategic compliance support throughout construction and ongoing operational compliance;
- Interact with and build relationships with clients, contractors/subcontractors, and internal practice leaders with a strong commitment to customer service and responsiveness to client needs;
- Deliver on multiple fast-paced projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines;
- Prepare permit applications and compliance programs for multiple environmental media, including air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, spill prevention and storage tanks, EPCRA (Tier II, TRI);
- Perform multi-media environmental compliance audits, gap assessments, inspections, and program reviews;
- Develop and support implementation and management of various monitoring and spill prevention and contingency plans/programs (SPCC, FRP, SPR, SWPPP, Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans, TOMP, Slug Control, etc.);
- Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments;
- Lead and/or assist in the preparation of proposals including development of scope and costs;
- Manage project budgets and assist in invoicing as project or task manager;
- Conduct field support at client sites including routine site inspections, collection of samples, and on-call support;
- Train and mentor junior staff; and. CHMM) is strongly preferred;
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred;
- Ability to effectively manage multiple clients and projects;
- Ability to work well on multi-disciplinary projects;
- Willingness and ability to maintain and develop existing client relationships as well as identify new opportunities is strongly desired;
