YOUR ROLE AS A CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER IAs a Control Systems Engineer I at Golden Valley Electric Association, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and operation of control systems across system dispatch and generation facilities. Our system is interconnected with Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB, Fort Greely, Clear Space Force Station, the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, and all of the electric utilities in the Alaska Railbelt, extending from Homer to Fairbanks.

Knowledge and skills required for the position include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).Progressive experience in systems administration, network engineering, or related IT infrastructure roles.
