Purpose of Classification: The purpose of this classification is to perform process duties related to managing the operations of the Countys water system and wastewater collection system, including supervising assigned staff; preparing assigned annual budget; and overseeing activities related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of the water system infrastructure, as well as activities related to the development and monitoring of work plans, and the scheduling of preventative and corrective maintenance requirements. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, supplemented by vocational or technical training in Water treatment field or a related field; supplemented by Supplemented by five years of experience in Water Treatment to include two years of lead or supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
