p>• Support implementation of campus PBIS expectations, routines, and reinforcement systems (e.g., acknowledgements, incentives, tracking) • Provide positive redirection and reinforcement of expected behaviors in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, bus areas, and other campus settings • Assist with small-group or individual behavior skill-building as directed, helping students practice appropriate replacement behaviors • Support students during escalation by using approved de-escalation strategies and calling for administrative support as needed, following campus procedures • Supervise and support students assigned to behavior interventions (e.g., restorative reflection, re-teach of expectations, structured check-ins) • Implement components of student behavior plans (e.g., check-in/check-out, behavior contracts, point sheets) under the direction of campus administration and/or certified staff. • Provide instruction to students under the direction of the teacher • Work with individual students or small groups to support engagement and success • Assist the teacher with PBIS-aligned classroom routines, visual supports, and behavior reinforcement systems • Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays as assigned • Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom • Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment • Help the teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports as assigned.
