Responsibilities:
Position Summary:The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for leading and managing the rehabilitation department to ensure resident care needs are met while aligning with the company’s financial goals and regulatory requirements. Through effective leadership and strategic oversight of staff, clients, and referral sources, the DOR drives excellence in patient care, employee engagement, customer service, and financial performance. Coordinates Drop-In Center programming, routinely working to secure appropriate community partners with the goal of providing a robust array of homelessness support services for young adults.

EXAMPLE OF WORK PERFORMED 
 
<ul><li>Works with young adults (18-25) and their families in mental health, home, community and/or office settings.</li><li>Provides case management, skills training and crisis intervention for young adults.</li><li>Provides and coordinates life skills training to YHDP Dobey Drop-In Center consumers and works closely with the Navigation Team and other YHDP providers.</li><li>Coordinates Drop-In Center programming, routinely working to secure appropriate community partners with the goal of providing a robust array of homelessness support services for young adults.</li><li>Connects to the Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition’s Heart to Home Coordinated Entry system while also performing other necessary Coordinated Entry functions.</li><li>Complete all documentation in an accurate and timely manner as shown in management reports.</li><li>Refers families of consumers to appropriate social welfare and health agencies to obtain assistance as needed.</li><li>Performs other related duties as required.</li></ul>Experience: 
Must have current valid Texas driver's license and current and continued proof of liability insurance. Education: 
A bachelor's degree (CWI) or master’s degree (CWII) in psychology, social work or related field.
