li>Previous electro-mechanical inspection background with the ability to use basic hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges etc.) preferred; Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings (including GD&T), preferred. Work with the Quality Engineering Team in regard to continuous improvement activities, solving problems and improving overall product quality - may include various physical tasks from time to time with regard to moving parts and equipment.
li>Experience within Quality systems in a high-volume Manufacturing environment, with specific exposure to Material Review Board processes (QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA preferred, and GD&T knowledge is helpful). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contain non-conforming parts or products, sort or potentially rework parts for quality requirements, and support corrective action implementation.
Education/Experience: Must have a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Electronics Technology, or a certificate from an accredited electronics school is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities:

The position is responsible for leading, coaching, and supervising the QC Technicians, including assigning tasks; prioritizing inspections to meet business needs; identifying and correcting quality issues; resolving conflicts involving QC personnel; and ensuring all QC Technicians are adequately trained in the proper use of measurement devices and the proper methods for documenting inspection data in a GMP environment. Oversee the environmental controls for all controlled manufacturing environments, including bioburden testing, monitoring of environmental conditions, and documentation of housekeeping activities.
