NewAccounting Manager I-NSKNG Misti PettAccounting Manager I-NSKNGParisFull timeBasic Job Functions: The Accounting Manager is responsible for a wide array of financial, strategic and leadership duties, including, but not limited to: strong involvement in the Division safety goals and actions; leading accounting and purchasing teammates and processes; training and development; overseeing all daily accounting and purchasing tasks and controls, such as the general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, tax, financial and compliance reporting, forecasting and inventory activity; and various financial and analytical analyses driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the business locally and Corporate-wide. The Accounting Manager maintains oversight and execution of Nucor’s accounting and reporting related activities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP); leads the implementation, communication, and interpretation of accounting and purchasing policies; manages the period-end accounting system close process; ensures accuracy and completeness of financial reports with weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual on-time and accurate submissions; and leading ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
