p>Orbital Engineering's Utility Services Department partners with Utility and Communication Companies in Engineering and Construction operations for Joint Use Pole Attachment Programs (JU), Distribution Engineering Design Projects, and Distribution System Improvement Charge (DSIC) programs, such as the Pennsylvania Long-Term Infrastructure Improvement Program (LTIIP). Our regional offices, hands-on mentality, and world-wide integrated teams provide an ability to leverage subject matter experts and industry best-practices wherever a project may lie geographically.
The Project Manager will work closely with internal teams and clients to define project scope, develop proposals, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure successful project execution. This role is responsible for leading projects from initial concept through engineering, procurement, construction, and final startup.
p>This position is for a seasoned professional Project Manager in Commercial Mechanical Installation, who works independently, interacting with customers, supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects, oversee subcontractors, facilitates project tasks with various functional organizations, forecast project revenues, tracks progress and costs, identifies project problems, and recommends resolutions. Through cutting-edge advancements in climate solutions such as temperature control, air quality and transportation, we improve lives, empower critical industries and ensure safe transport of food, lifesaving medicines and more.
li>Financially manages all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, analyzes reporting to identify project deficiencies and provides guidance on corrective action, prepares and facilitates monthly backlog review, and reconciles applied cost.
Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
