Advise students; provide assistance to the students regarding up-to-date information on degrees or certificates in their educational program; maintain accurate files on each advisee; refer students, when appropriate, to sources of specialized services within the University (including student organization and/or class advisement). In addition, faculty are expected to be involved in activities that support individuals and or groups in the institution, university system, professional associations, or external communities at the local, state, regional, national or international levels.
