<p><strong>DEPARTMENT:            </strong>Federal Programs <br/><strong>JOB TITLE:                   </strong>Title I Coach <br/><strong>CLASSIFICATION:       </strong>Exempt<br/><strong>REPORTS TO:          </strong>Federal Programs Coordinator</p><h1>JOB GOAL:</h1><p>The Title I Coach will instruct referred Title I students on objectives identified by the fall and spring benchmark assessments in order to assist them in attaining proficiency on the PSSA and Keystone Assessments. The Title I Coach will utilizing one-on-one or small group differentiated teaching strategies to prepare the student(s) for academic success.</p><h1>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree</li><li>PA Certified in area of assignment</li><li>Child Abuse Clearance; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance</li></ul><h1>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</h1><ul><li>Maintain communication regarding coaching availability with the Federal Programs Coordinator. Participate in all Title I Coach trainings, including but not limited to the below:<ul><li>BrainHoney</li><li>BlackBoard Collaborate</li><li>DORA/DOMA</li><li>NetTrekker</li><li>Study Island</li><li>Coaching reports and ADP timecards</li><li>PSSA Preparation</li><li>Keystone Preparation</li><li>Coaching Protocol</li><li>Differentiated Instruction for Reading or Math</li></ul></li><li>Provide Individual Coaching Plan for each student based on the results of state and local assessments</li><li>Complete and submit Coaching Reports accurately and timely on a bi-monthly basis to the title1@pacyber.org</li><li>Submit accurate time sheets as directed</li><li>Maintain contact with parents of students receiving Title I Coaching<ul><li>Individual Coaching Plan</li><li>Progress Monitoring</li><li>Attendance</li></ul></li><li>Establish and maintain contact with teachers and/or Academic Advisors<ul><li>Individual Coaching Plan</li><li>Progress Monitoring</li><li>Attendance</li></ul></li><li>Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by the Federal Programs Coordinator</li></ul><h1>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</h1><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
