Setting: Primarily outpatient clinic with some inpatient rounding and first-assist surgical duties Sites: Rotating among three clinic locations Team Structure: Join a dedicated team of 2 orthopedic surgeons and 2 experienced APPs Environment: Fast-paced, supportive orthopedic practice with strong mentorship and autonomy Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations in the clinic setting Manage follow-up visits, pre- and post-operative assessments Assist surgeons with procedures as needed, including first-assist responsibilities Perform inpatient rounding and coordinate care with the surgical team Order and interpret diagnostic tests Provide patient education and care coordination Document thoroughly in the EMR and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physician partners Qualifications Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current NP certification Active or eligible Texas NP license Previous orthopedic experience preferred, but motivated new graduates with surgical interest are welcome to apply Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently Incentives/Benefits Package In addition to unmatched potential for flexibility and career growth and a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits program is available for full-time colleagues.
