Key Qualifications ü Meet the minimum qualifications for Texas Rising Star staffü Excellent written and verbal communication skillsü Time management skillsü Ability to analyze, interpret and present strategies, leading to successful deliverables and outcomesü Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and SharePointü Able to work in a fast-paced environmentDo you have… ü Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science and meet the minimum work experience requirements of one year of full-time early childhood classroom experience in a childcare, Early Head Start, Head Start, or pre-K through third-grade school program; ORü Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university with at least 18 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science with at least 12 credit hours in child development and meet the minimum work experience requirements of one year of full-time early childhood classroom experience in a child care, Early Head Start, Head Start, or pre-K through third-grade school program; ORü Associate degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science, and two years of suitable experience in early childhood education as a classroom teacher, curriculum coordinator or director. Provide learning resources to interested ELPs who are interested in Texas Rising Star.ü Create continuous quality improvement plans (CQIPs) for Entry Level Designated (ELDs) and Texas Rising Star (TRS) programs.ü
