Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through schooling, training, and experience related to echo including in two-dimensional, doppler, color doppler, transesophageal echocardiology (TEE), transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echo and understanding of complex congenital heart disease and surgical repairs. Scope of work Echo Techs perform a variety of cardiac testing including, stress, transesophageal, transthoracic, dobutamine stress echocardiograms and others as indicated (ICE, 3D, strain, specialty and fetal echocardiograms); calculates acquired data and prepares study for medical staff interpretation.
