Description Under general supervision of the Criminal Investigations Division Lieutenant, the Forensic Supervisor is responsible for supervising and participating in the day-to-day operations of crime scene forensic related activities, including but not limited to overseeing assigned employees, responding to major crime scenes as requested and/or required, conducting crime scene investigations, and overseeing and performing a variety of highly technical crime scene related processing functions. • Perform a variety of technical crime scene activities including but not limited to utilizing alternate light sources, chemical and physical processes, scientific methods, and equipment for the detection, collection, and processing of evidence; and assisting with crime scene reconstruction including determining the sequence of events that took place, bullet trajectory, and identifying blood stain patterns to aid in blood stain analysis.
