Position requires follow-up with delinquent accounts and payment plans, collection of patient accounts, and may include telephone contact or follow-up on collections with letters. Provides efficient and accurate support for insurance, coding, registration, financial assistance and other billing related issues to resolve outstanding patient accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the first point of contact in responding to customers, providing effective service and resolving inquiries related to billing, service disruptions, account management, basic programs and services offered, and general utility services information. We provide electricity in a 26,000-square-mile service area in northeastern Minnesota to 150,000 customers, including 14 municipal systems and some of the nation's largest industrial customers.

Contact customers to proactively renew expiring accounts, conduct recent order surveys, notify of product recalls, update contact information, and other customer service initiatives. • Work with distribution centers to document and resolve issues where customers receive damaged product or orders with missing or incorrect products.
