This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment where you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing sophisticated machinery and equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our production machinery and mechanical equipment. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Responsibilities: <ul><li> Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment, test new machinery, and implement regular maintenance procedures.</li><li> Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.</li><li> Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.</li><li> Keep a record of all maintenance and repair work done, including a detailed description of the machine error, the diagnosis, and the repair work completed.</li><li> Monitor the use and inventory of spare parts, equipment, and other maintenance supplies, and order new supplies as needed.</li><li> Collaborate with the production team to understand their needs and ensure machinery and equipment are in good working order.</li><li> Comply with all safety and health regulations when operating equipment or performing tasks.</li><li> Remain updated on current technology and machinery related to the manufacturing industry.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li> A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing or similar industrial setting.</li><li> Proven mechanical and electrical skills, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems.</li><li> Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical problems quickly and efficiently.</li><li> In-depth knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.</li><li> Strong complex problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and implement solutions.</li><li> Ability to handle physical workload and to work in a variety of weather conditions.</li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li><li> Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.</li><li> Professional certification in a relevant field will be an added advantage.</li></ul> Interested in hearing more?
