Loading packaged material, clearing jams, resetting faults, conducting change-overs, quality checks, reporting issues, and maintaining area GMP’s.li>Attend to machines by quickly and efficiently loading/replenishing feeders with reels of components, entering programs into automated placement machinery, setting up support fixtures, and prepping multiple assembly lines for next shop order with the primary goal being to maximize machine productive time read shop orders, follow production work instruction and sample assemblies, and receive verbal/written instructions regarding duties to be performed. Demonstrated verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, to provide for respectful work-related communications with peers and associates from other departments (direct contact and use of electronic mail systems).

Works with new and used railroad wheelsets and axles; • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts; • A Machine Operator operates assigned machinery, monitors and optimizing efficiency, does basic maintenance to machines and performs quality checks; • Performs all assigned machine shop operations; • Set up and operates machines; • Observe machine operations, detect work piece defects and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance; • Operate machinery and equipment according to work instructions; • Troubleshoot issues and perform routine and minor maintenance.
