Responsibilities: Provide operational support to on-site equipment related to client Desktops, Handheld, Laptops, Process PC's, NetPC's, Servers, associated OS(NT, Windows) and software, printers, tethered network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Phone systems and untethered Wireless access points. Assists end users with hardware and software issues by fielding telephone calls, email communication, help desk tickets, diagnosing problems and performing troubleshooting activities.

Job descriptionProvide IT support to on-site employees and resources. Gather client and problem information, troubleshoot and resolve when possible, or escalate quickly and accurately when appropriate.Responsibilities:Provide operational support to on-site equipment related to client Desktops, Handheld, Laptops, Process PC's, NetPC's, Servers, associated OS(NT, Windows) and software, printers, tethered network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Phone systems and untethered Wireless access points.Gather/Capture client and problem informationMake use of technical skills, knowledge database and other IT resources to resolve problems and escalate problems appropriatelyAssists end users with hardware and software issues by fielding telephone calls, email communication, help desk tickets, diagnosing problems and performing troubleshooting activities. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to facilitate a timely resolution. Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions. Applicant must have experience supporting Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel and other desktop applications. Works under immediate supervision.Qualifications:2+ years of related IT experience3 years of Work experiencePrevious Customer Service work a plus.Strong IT/Technical aptitudeIT degree or certificate a plusCompTIA Certification a plusRate Range: $26-$29/HR with full benefitsPowered by JazzHR

Job Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform a wide range of technical tasks including but not limited to:<ul><li>OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup</li><li>Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables)</li><li>Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)</li></ul></li><li>Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate</li><li>Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients</li><li>Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory </li></ul>Preferred Skills & Experience <ul><li>PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)</li><li>At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following:<ul><li>A+ Certification</li><li>Network+ Certification</li><li>OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom</li></ul></li></ul>Required Equipment & Qualifications <ul><li>Reliable personal vehicle (Public transportation not accepted)</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li><li>Must have a standard set of tools for basic I.T. and networking tasks (e.g., screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers). </li><li>Laptop with Ethernet port</li><li>Smartphone with mobile hotspot</li><li>Ability to accept job assignments based on your availability; being on-call 24/7 is a strong advantage.</li><li>Punctual, courteous, and presentable</li></ul>Compensation & Perks <ul><li>Paid hourly while on site</li><li>1099 contractor position</li><li>Travel pay included (based on time travel; approx. 80-mile radius from home)</li><li>App-based tracking for job time and travel</li><li>Exposure to new and exciting technologies and clients</li><li>Opportunity to expand your skills and industry knowledge</li></ul>About AMG Tech Support
