Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) preferred. Provides initial and on-going social, cultural and learning needs, along with education, goal setting and behavioral interventions to promote diabetes self-management skills and patient empowerment, including but not limited to, intensive insulin management and diabetes technology.
