Job Details The Opportunity We are seeking a Physical Therapist (or Outpatient Orthopedic PT) to join our busy practice in Medford, NY. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys an MSK/ortho setting and values the ability to work alongside a multidisciplinary medical team. What You’ll Do Clinical Excellence: Perform comprehensive evaluations, interpret findings, and build treatment plans in coordination with physicians. Therapeutic Intervention: Deliver treatment using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional activities. Advanced Modalities: Apply electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, paraffin therapy, heat/cold therapy, and traction to enhance patient outcomes. Patient Advocacy: Track progress, adjust plans of care, and develop home exercise programs (HEP) for long-term discharge success. Continuity of Care: Document all patient interactions in the EHR system and follow strict infection-control protocols. What You Bring Licensure: Valid New York State Physical Therapy license and registration. Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred). Experience: Strong patient communication skills; while outpatient ortho/MSK experience is preferred, we are New Grad friendly and provide excellent support.
