p>Key Responsibilities ā¢ Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities to support project schedules and budgets ā¢ Design, review, and implement temporary works and construction means and methods with a strong emphasis on safety ā¢ Inspect installed work, equipment, and materials; identify issues and coordinate corrective actions as needed ā¢ Provide on-site direction and technical support to foremen, crews, and subcontractors ā¢ Monitor project progress and prepare accurate daily reports, quantities, and documentation ā¢ Perform quality control inspections to ensure work complies with contract documents, plans, and specifications ā¢ Verify materials and workmanship meet project requirements and approved submittals ā¢ Enforce safety policies, OSHA regulations, and proper use of PPE on the job site ā¢ Support project cost tracking, schedule updates, and coordination with project stakeholders ā¢ Assist with communication between the field, project management, owners, and inspectors. Qualifications ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline ā¢ Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar role in heavy civil or highway construction ā¢ Strong understanding of construction methods, equipment, and materials used in civil infrastructure projects ā¢ Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and job-site safety practices ā¢ High attention to detail with strong organizational skills ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills ā¢ Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities ā¢ Ability to work extended hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, as required to meet project schedules.
