p>Key Responsibilities ⢠Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities to support project schedules and budgets ⢠Design, review, and implement temporary works and construction means and methods with a strong emphasis on safety ⢠Inspect installed work, equipment, and materials; identify issues and coordinate corrective actions as needed ⢠Provide on-site direction and technical support to foremen, crews, and subcontractors ⢠Monitor project progress and prepare accurate daily reports, quantities, and documentation ⢠Perform quality control inspections to ensure work complies with contract documents, plans, and specifications ⢠Verify materials and workmanship meet project requirements and approved submittals ⢠Enforce safety policies, OSHA regulations, and proper use of PPE on the job site ⢠Support project cost tracking, schedule updates, and coordination with project stakeholders ⢠Assist with communication between the field, project management, owners, and inspectors. Qualifications ⢠Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline ⢠Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar role in heavy civil or highway construction ⢠Strong understanding of construction methods, equipment, and materials used in civil infrastructure projects ⢠Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and job-site safety practices ⢠High attention to detail with strong organizational skills ⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills ⢠Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities ⢠Ability to work extended hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, as required to meet project schedules.
