Responsibilities ⢠Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of material ⢠Perform high-quality soldering, including throughāhole and surfaceāmount (SMT) techniques ⢠Build and terminate cable harnesses ⢠Apply solder stencils and solder paste accurately ⢠Follow proper ESD protection and all safety procedures ⢠Handāplace or use assisted pickāandāplace equipment to mount SMT components down to 0402 size ⢠Apply conformal coating to printed circuit board assemblies ⢠Identify electronic components and understand their applications ⢠Build and test a wide range of analog and digital circuits ⢠Operate test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies ⢠Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems at the component, board, and system levels ⢠Assist with development and construction of custom electrical apparatus ⢠Support planning, execution, and analysis of assembly and engineering tests ⢠Perform preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, and adjustments on electronic equipment ⢠Maintain inventory records and manage ordering, stocking, and storage of electronic components ⢠Communicate effectively in both computerābased and ināperson team environments ⢠Use word processing and spreadsheet software to prepare, present, and share test data. Ideal Experience ⢠Associate degree (A.A.), or 5-6 years of related work experience or training ⢠Current IPCāJāSTDā001S certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire ⢠Current IPC/WHMA-A-620S certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
