Responsibilities ā¢ Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of material ā¢ Perform high-quality soldering, including throughāhole and surfaceāmount (SMT) techniques ā¢ Build and terminate cable harnesses ā¢ Apply solder stencils and solder paste accurately ā¢ Follow proper ESD protection and all safety procedures ā¢ Handāplace or use assisted pickāandāplace equipment to mount SMT components down to 0402 size ā¢ Apply conformal coating to printed circuit board assemblies ā¢ Identify electronic components and understand their applications ā¢ Build and test a wide range of analog and digital circuits ā¢ Operate test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies ā¢ Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems at the component, board, and system levels ā¢ Assist with development and construction of custom electrical apparatus ā¢ Support planning, execution, and analysis of assembly and engineering tests ā¢ Perform preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, and adjustments on electronic equipment ā¢ Maintain inventory records and manage ordering, stocking, and storage of electronic components ā¢ Communicate effectively in both computerābased and ināperson team environments ā¢ Use word processing and spreadsheet software to prepare, present, and share test data. Ideal Experience ā¢ Associate degree (A.A.), or 5-6 years of related work experience or training ā¢ Current IPCāJāSTDā001S certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire ā¢ Current IPC/WHMA-A-620S certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
