Duties include: manage department main office; provide administrative support to department chair by handling administrative details such as related to course scheduling, registration, rosters, correspondence to constituent groups, textbook orders, advising assignments, and details of adjunct hiring; contribute to department Facebook page; and assist faculty in collecting items such as course syllabi, extra employment, and faculty schedule cards. Demonstrated working knowledge of general office practices and procedures as well as of various computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
