Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Track sales and purchases to ensure accurate buying.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Schedule employees in accordance to the business needs.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Estimate requirements and order or requisition meat supplies to maintain inventories.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Track inventory on hand to ensure proper turnover.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Supervise other butchers or meat cutters.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Direct other employees in the department to acheive the goals determined through upper management.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, to ensure meat quality.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter, so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper's eye.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, to prepare meat in cooking form.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢Shape, lace, and tie roasts, using boning knife, skewer, and twine.
