The Learning Management Systems Administrator is a full-time, salaried position responsible for the oversight, management, and optimization of Cornerstone University’s online learning management system, currently Brightspace. This role ensures the platform supports the university’s Christ-centered mission and biblical confession by delivering a seamless, high-quality online learning experience for students, faculty, and staff. The LMS Administrator leads the development and implementation of LMS policies, supervises a team of support staff as required, and collaborates with academic and administrative stakeholders. This position requires advanced technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to aligning technological solutions with institutional goals and Christian values. The core of Cornerstone University is defined and driven by its Christ-centered mission and Biblical confession.LOCATION: Grand Rapids, Michigan or Remote or HybridDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Oversee the implementation, and enforcement of LMS policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, data privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA), and institutional guidelines.</li><li>Provides phone, email, and/or in-person support for the LMS for students, faculty, and staff, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues to optimize the learning experience.</li><li>Lead the development and maintenance of course templates, ensuring scalability, accessibility, and alignment with CU Online standards of excellence and universal design principles.</li><li>Collaborate with academic leadership, faculty, and IT to assess and integrate new LMS features, staying current with developments in learning management systems and educational technology.</li><li>Gather course content from internal departments, SMEs, and others, ensuring materials reflect the university’s Biblical worldview and academic rigor.</li><li>Design and maintain learning materials within course shells, coordinating with faculty to develop, update, or revise curricula, assignments, textbooks, gradebooks, and external links.</li><li>Oversee on-time course deployment and system-wide updates, establishing timelines and accountability measures to ensure reliability and accuracy of all course deliverables.</li><li>Maintain and enhance the Brightspace master course library, implementing quality control processes to ensure data consistency, integrity, and alignment with CU Online standards.</li><li>Develop and deliver comprehensive faculty training programs, creating effective communication channels to prepare instructors for curriculum changes, collect feedback, and foster adoption of best practices in online teaching.</li><li>Monitor and analyze LMS performance metrics, generating reports for senior leadership to inform decision-making and demonstrate the platform’s impact on student outcomes.</li><li>Ensure data security and confidentiality, utilizing excellent judgment when handling sensitive data in compliance with institutional and legal standards.</li><li>Research emerging technologies (e.g., AI tools, adaptive learning systems) to enhance the student experience while maintaining alignment with the university’s Christian values.</li><li>All Cornerstone University employees are expected to serve as Christian leaders and mentors, regularly interacting with students in various projects, activities, and settings, living a gospel-centered lifestyle, and ministering through a Biblical worldview.</li><li>Work with all course creation, modification, updates, and revisions. </li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.</li><li>One to three years of instructional design experience in the evolving educational technology landscape</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to work collegially with faculty and staff</li></ul>ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian commitment.</li><li>A theology that supports the values and mission of Cornerstone University core commitments evidenced by an ability to affirm and sign the university’s doctrinal statement, “The Cornerstone Confession.”</li><li>Four other foundational pillars, along with the university’s mission and confession, form Cornerstone’s Core Commitments.<ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li>The Cornerstone Christian World View</li><li>The Cornerstone Academic Vision</li><li>The Cornerstone Beautiful Christian Community</li><li>The Marriage and Human Sexuality Position Statement</li></ul></li></ul>These core commitments convey who we are, what we believe and how we live and work together in community. Community Relations Director Position Summary:Under the general direction from the Regional Sales Director, with support from the Executive Director, the Community Relations Director assumes the overall responsibility for Sales and Marketing of their community. As an advocate for potential residents, the Community Relations Director shares information about the community, gives tours to potential residents and their family members, and works with the Executive Director to create and maintain an inviting and welcoming community to all residents. Qualifications and Required Experience for Community Relations Director:<ul><li>Excellent communication skills and a compassion for older adults.</li><li>Must possess valid driver’s license.</li><li>Previous sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare or service related setting.</li><li>Excellent computer skills, working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite of products.</li><li>Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adults and the needs of the caregiver.</li><li>High degree of interpersonal relationship skills.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Considerable initiative, judgment, and leadership skills.</li><li>Problem solving and logic skills.</li></ul> Primary Responsibilities for Community Relations Director:<ul><li>Ensure effective communication to Leadership team regarding marketing, sales, and occupancy issues.</li><li>Develop and implement marketing plans.</li><li>Organize and manage a successful networking and community outreach program.</li><li>Effectively track and cultivate all prospects utilizing the sales software.</li><li>Ensure that a census of budgeted occupancy or higher is maintained.</li><li>Monitor and manage the marketing budget.</li><li>Set, track, and accomplish goals on a timely basis for completed calls, mailings, leads generated, appointments set, presentations, and closings as outlined within Monthly Marketing Plan.</li><li>Maintain a thorough working proficiency on the lead management system.</li><li>Develop a rapport and positive relationship with prospective residents and families.</li><li>Ensure that model suites are well maintained.</li><li>Assist in the planning and implementation of in service training, touring, and presentations.</li><li>Provide tour training and customer service training to staff.</li><li>Make written and weekly oral reports and meet as directed with the Executive Director.</li><li>Oversee and/or coordinate new resident move-in process with appropriate team members.</li><li>Work in conjunction with other members of the Leadership Team.</li><li>Conduct effective sales meetings.</li><li>Submit recommendations to the Executive Director for the budget completion, equipment, and supplies.</li><li>Ensure adequate supplies and equipment is available to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the Community Relations Department.</li><li>Participate in weekly occupancy call and focus calls as required.</li></ul> #indhp
